Liptena opaca, the Kirby's liptena, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, the Republic of the Congo, Gabon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda and Tanzania. The habitat consists of forests.
