Line BR of Taipei Metro (Wenshan–Neihu Line, shortened as Wenhu Line or Brown Line or Line 1) comprises two sections of the Taipei Rapid Transit System, the Wenshan Section, and the Neihu Section. It is a medium-capacity line and has a total of 24 stations serving the Nangang, Neihu, Zhongshan, Songshan, Daan, Xinyi, and Wenshan districts, stretching 25.7 km long. Zhongshan Junior High School borders the Wenshan Section and the Neihu Section; north of the station is the Neihu Section and south of the station is the Wehshan Section. As of September 2011, the line transports an average of 180,000 passengers daily. MRT line BR are completely on the viaduct (except Songshan Airport Station is in the underground).

The Line BR connects to the Nangang Section (Line 5) at Zhongxiao Fuxing and Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

The Wenshan Section began revenue service on March 28, 1996, as the Muzha Section. The Neihu Section began revenue service on July 4, 2009. The Wenhu Line was formerly named the Muzha–Neihu Line, colloquially shortened as the Zhahu Line before October 8, 2009.
