Linda Wang' is a concert violinist and String Chair and Associate Professor of Violin at the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver. She has performed as soloist with over seventy orchestras in such venues as Carnegie Hall and the Berlin Schauspielhas and has performed in both the United States and internationally [2] as soloist with the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Salzburg Chamber Orchestra, Southern Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, Taipei Philharmonia Musical, Harbin Symphony Orchestra, Philippines Philharmonic Orchestra. playing a 1767 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin.

Linda Wang made her performance debut with Zubin Mehta and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra at age 9. and performances have been televised for PBS, Arts and Entertainment, Germany’s ZDF and Japan’s NHK. Radio broadcasts include NPR’s “Performance Today, WQXR (New York City), WFMT (Chicago), KMozart and KKGO (Los Angeles), MDR (Germany), Leipzig Rundfunk and Deutschland Radio, Berlin. She attended the Juilliard School, Colburn School and the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music. She was also a Fulbright scholar pursuing advanced studies at the Salzburg Mozarteum.
