Lina Zimmer (November 20, 1892 – August 28, 2004) was, for the last year of her life, dying at the age of 111, the oldest German. She was said to be humorous. She was born and died in Stuttgart.

She studied dress making and was born as one of six children. She married graphic artist Richard Zimmer in 1915 and remained married for 60 years until his death in 1975. Lina said about King William II of Wurttemberg that he was a nice person because when you saw him on the street and greeted him he greeted back.

Her advice for a long life was "Live sensibly, don't get worked up and be content" (original quote: "Vernunftig leben, sich nicht aufregen und zufrieden sein").
