Life Is Beautiful is a company that creates and supports certain programs, initiatives, and live events. Its main event is the festival. Life is Beautiful supports local charities.
The 2014 event featured several stages hosting: 1) live music from genres such as hip hop, rock, pop, and EDM; 2) culinary demonstrations and food stands featuring chefs found on The Food Network, Bravo, TLC and other cooking shows; 3) artwork from local and international artists; and 4) speakers including Tony Hsieh, Pussy Riot, Lizzie Velásquez and Penn & Teller.

In 2015 Life is Beautiful announced a partnership with Insomniac Events to increase the presence of electronic music offerings on the lineup. Insomniac curated the Troubadour stage with headlining acts Porter Robinson, Carnage, and Knife Party.
