Liberty is a town in Vernon County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 167 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated communities of Liberty and Ross are located in the town.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 23.1 square miles (59.7 km²), of which, 23.0 square miles (59.7 km²) of it is land and 0.04% is water.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 167 people, 73 households, and 52 families residing in the town. The population density was 7.2 people per square mile (2.8/km²). There were 123 housing units at an average density of 5.3 per square mile (2.1/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.60% of the population.
There were 73 households out of which 27.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.6% were married couples living together, 6.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.4% were non-families. 23.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.29 and the average family size was 2.68.
