Profiles

Levende Ord Bibelsenter (Norwegian for "Living Word Bible Centre") is a charismatic church in Bergen, Norway. The congregation was founded in 1992 by Enevald Flåten.

The centre is Norway's largest free church with nearly 3,000 members. The church also has its own bible school, an elementary school and a high school.

Levende Ord is influenced by the teachings of Kenneth Hagin, Lester Sumrall and E. W. Kenyon. The Church is also influenced by the Swedish church Livets Ord and its pastor Ulf Ekman, which it has a close relationship with.

The new leader of Levende Ord is now Olav Rønhovde. Flåten left Levende Ord 2006 after an internal conflict. In 2009, Levende ord changed its name to Credokirken (The Credo Church). Credo is Latin for "I believe.
