The Let’s Raise a Million Project (LRAM) is a student-led, urban ecological non-profit organization focused on introducing energy saving solutions to limited-income households. Formed in 2007 at Morehouse College[1] by co-founders Tony C. Anderson and Marcus L. Penny, with this overall goal of reducing carbon emissions in target communities, college students go door-to-door to directly replace incandescent bulbs with energy efficient bulbs--compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) at no cost to resident. During the retrofitting operation, residents receive information on additional ways to reduce energy consumption and bills as well as carbon emissions.

In November 2008, the project installed more than 12,000 CFL in Atlanta, GA.
