Leo-Volkhard Freiherr von Wittgenstein (13 July 1913 – 22 February 1945) was a highly decorated Major i.G. in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Leo-Volkhard Freiherr von Wittgenstein died on 22 February 1945 in Bonn.
