The winners of the Leitrim Championship winners qualify to represent their county in the Connacht Junior Club Hurling Championship and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship. Some GAA yearbooks give Mohill as winners in 1904 and Manorhamilton Shamrocks as winners in 1906. There may also have been competitions in 1918-1919 and again in the 1933-1934 period.
