Legislative district of Taguig

The Legislative district of Taguig City is the representation of the Second Councilor District of the City of Taguig in the Philippine House of Representatives. It was established under Republic Act No. 8487 on February 11, 1998, which converted Taguig into a highly urbanized city, but it did not take effect until December 8, 2004. It first elected its representative in the 2007 general elections. Prior to its creation, it was part of the legislative district of Pateros-Taguig.
