Legend Productions is a UK based media production company. Their core business is the creation of video programmes based upon the Shotokan school of karate. With a significant archive in excess of 400 hours of film and video, dating as far back as the mid-1960s, they are a source of historical martial arts information.

During the late 1960s, and until the late 1980s, Shotokan karate competition fights (kumite) took place under the Federation of All Japan Karatedo Organizations (FAJKO) system. These rules allowed hard contact to the mid body, and some facial contact. The rules began to change in the mid-1980s, and many of the techniques that had been allowed under FAJKO rules, especially face contact, were banned due to health and safety concerns.

The archive footage held by Legend Productions is almost exclusively fights that took place using the FAJKO rules. Their archive also contains vast amounts of KUGB material and also film material of Keinosuke Enoeda's early days in the UK, including his time in Liverpool where he tutored Andy Sherry and Terry O'Neil; before his move to Marshall St, London. The company recently (2010) produced a re-edited set of DVDs - 'Beginner to Black Belt' which cover the full requirements for kyu and dan grades, up to second dan, as well as the 26 Shotokan katas.
