Lecithocera palpella is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by Bradley in 1961. It is found on Guadalcanal.
The wingspan is about 14 mm. The forewings are chamois, sparsely sprinkled with aniline-black scales, most heavily in the terminal area. There is a weak, small, aniline-black discal stigma in the middle of the cell, and a weak transverse concentration of aniline-black scales at the end of the cell indicating a second stigma. The base of the costa is broadly and strongly marked with aniline-black, a concentration of aniline-black scales from the middle of the costa to about four-fifths forming a weak, elongate marking. There is also a pre-apical patch of pure ground colour free from dark coloured scales. The hindwings are chamois at the apex, otherwise greyish cream-buff.
