Layan, Lynn, Leanne or Lian (Arabic: ليان) is a feminine Arabic given name meaning "prosperity life", "soft, gentle." Leen (Arabic: لين) is a related name that means "tender." Both are among the most popular names given to newborn girls in the Arab world in the past decade.

Variants of the name are also in use in the United States. In 2011, 77 newborn American girls were named Layan. The name increased in popularity when, in 2012, 106 newborn girls were named Layan. Some 113 American girls were given the name Layan in 2013. In addition, 19 newborn girls were named Lian in 2011 and 41 girls were named Lian in 2012. Forty-seven American girls were named Lian in 2013. In 2012, 68 girls were named Leen, in 2012 62 girls were named Leen and in 2013 84 American girls were called Leen. No variant of the name ranked among the top 1,000 names given to girls in that year.
