Laurie MacKenzie, was born in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada, but relocated to Winnipeg at age 19. He is a guitarist for the popular band, The Guess Who. Prior to joining The Guess Who, MacKenzie toured and recorded with Laurie MacKenzie and the Bandits and the Laurie MacKenzie Band.
