Laura Peternellie van Pappelendam (1883–1974) was an American painter and teacher.
Biography
Laura Peternellie van Pappelendam was born in Iowa in 1883. She studied art at the Art Institute of Chicago from 1904-1911. She taught at the Institute from 1909-1959 and well as the University of Chicago. She was involved in over 250 exhibits in the Chicago area. During the summers of 1920-1927 and 1950-1955 she painted in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
