Last Day Parade was a hardcore rock band from Albuquerque, New Mexico that had a significant effect on the Albuquerque/New Mexican music scene, and continues to influence the music today.

During its heyday, Last Day Parade was "known for their extremely energetic live show." While they were active for only a few years, they were able to release a few recordings on Philadelphia's Kickstart Audio, one of which was distributed in the Southwest by Sunset Alliance Records. Drawing comparisons to At The Drive In and Cap'n Jazz, Last Day Parade would leave a lasting mark on the scene in New Mexico, heavily influencing successful national act Coma Recovery and breaking down barriers for successful local act Someday.

The critics tended to be mixed about Last Day Parade's recorded efforts. For example, Mark Brandt at Buzzgrinder.com found that, for the most part, Driving at 90 MPH was "good with a few minor flaws. They aren’t doing anything really new (they do, however, have a horn on the intro to one of the tracks), but they aren’t doing anything bad either. Last Day Parade is putting out some mildly interesting hardcore that may be worth some of your hard earned cash." However, Mike Frost, also at Buzzgrinder.com, would write that Last Day Parade's contributions to its split EP With Lauren Hospital were merely "decent," or were just plain bad.

Since its break-up, some members of Last Day Parade have joined with former members of simulcrum to create the new band August Spies.
