Lapinjärvi ([ˈlapinˌjærʋi]; Swedish: Lappträsk) is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the Uusimaa region. The municipality has a population of 2,764 (31 March 2016) and covers an area of 329.87 square kilometres (127.36 sq mi) of which 9.44 km2 (3.64 sq mi) is water. The population density is 8.38 inhabitants per square kilometre (21.7/sq mi).
