Dairy

In 1916, Steve Siudzinski started the Langes Corners Cheese Factory, which he soon renamed Steve's Cheese. In 1934, Siudzinski began making large blocks of cheese as a promotional stunt, starting with a 2,000 pound and 3,800 pounds block of cheese. These large cheeses were often purchased by grocery stores or other groups to aid in promotions and sales. Siudzinski often partnered with Kraft Foods Inc to help bring in enough milk to produce the blocks of cheese. In 1964, Siudzinski made the world's largest block of cheese for the 1964 New York World's Fair, which weighed 34,591 pounds.

In 2000, Steve's Cheese was bought by the Smits family, and they moved the offices and store to Denmark, Wisconsin. The factory is still in use by BelGioioso Cheese today.
