Landgraben is a river of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is fed by the bifurcation of Datze River, almost in the middle of its bed. The western flow is after some kilometres becomes the Großer Landgraben an affluent of Tollense river, the eastern flow one of Zarow River, which flows into the Szczecin Lagoon. The meaning of Landgraben is something like "Border Canal". For xeveral centuries it was part of the border between Mecklenburg and Pomerania. The Landgraben drains one of the broad glacial valleys of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In these valleys, there is no strict discrimination between natural and artificial courses of water.
