Lance Cove (Bell Island) was a village located south of Wabana, Bell Island. The Way Office was established in 1888 and the first Way Master was William Clements.

Lance Cove (Trinity) was a small place with nine families in Trintiy district. The Way Office was established in 1886 and the first Way Master was Jesse Buckler and the first Post Master in 1891 was A. John Brown.
