Lame Mage Productions is an American game company that produces role-playing games and game supplements.

History

Lame Mage Productions started with the first publication by Ben Robbins, Zodiac Ring (2005), the first third-party adventure published for Mutants & Masterminds second edition, which was followed by the free Dr. Null: Battle on the Bay Bridge (2006), a Dr. Null trilogy of adventures (2006-2007), and a few others. In 2008, Robbins started releasing free supplements for indie games, including InSpectres and AGON, and then Lame Mage's production stopped for a few years because Robbins was completely reinventing the company. The premiere RPG for Robbins was a GM-less story game called Microscope (2011). Robbins Kickstarted a second story game, Kingdom (2013), raising $30,303 from 1,113 backers.
