Lambda Persei (λ Per, λ Persei) is a class A0IV (white subgiant) star in the constellation Perseus. Its apparent magnitude is 4.29 and it is approximately 422 light years away based on parallax.

In Chinese astronomy, Lambda Persei is called 積水, Pinyin: Jīshuǐ, meaning Stored Water, because this star is marking itself and stand alone in Stored Water asterism, Stomach mansion (see : Chinese constellation).
