La Plata FC are a football club from La Plata in Buenos Aires Province in Argentina. They currently play in Torneo Argentino B, which is the regionalised fourth tier of the Argentine Football Association league system.

The club were founded in 2000, making them one of the youngest teams in Argentinian football. Their stadium is Estadio Gobernador Mercante which has a capacity of 2,500, but they play most of their home games in the much larger Estadio Ciudad de La Plata which has a capacity of 45,000.

La Plata FC was heavily supported by then-mayor Julio Alak. Three months after Alak's departure from office, it was announced [1] that the club will disband.
