"La Leyenda del Hada y el Mago ("The Legend of the Wizard and the Fairy") is a song by the Argentine power metal band Rata Blanca. Also is the single of the 1990 album Magos, espadas y rosas. The song is written by the guitarist and band leader Walter Giardino and his sister. Originally sung by Adrian Barilari. The song also has an English version sung by Adrian Barilari in his solo album Barilari (2003). In this version, Giardino, Nightwish musicians and keyboardist Jens Johansson make appearances.
The song is about a wizard who is alone and when he finally finds someone to love, the evil forces take her away. The wizard will try to get her love back. The video is characterized by Walter Giardino and his wife.
