La Cresta is an affluent, exclusive, and unincorporated development in the Santa Ana Mountains directly west of the Murrieta city limits, and directly north of the Temecula neighborhood, De Luz. La Cresta is on the very western edge of Riverside County, and is located 15 miles (24 km) east of the Pacific Ocean.
