"La Casita de Quico" (English: Quico's House), is an episode of the Mexican television series El Chavo del Ocho. It is the ninth episode of the sixth season of the series and the 153rd overall. This episode is a remake of episodes from 1973's lost episode La Casita de Quico and 1974's La Casita del Chavo. The episode was originally broadcast in 1977. In this version, Quico builds a house and El Chavo refuses to play with him for believing that this is a game for girls. Meanwhile, Don Ramon tries to flee to not pay the rent.
Plot
Quico builds a house. El Chavo appears and refuses the Quico's invitation to play house, because he says this "is a girl's game". He reveals that he will buy a lollipop using a coin that Quico lost. Quico calls Chilindrina to play with him and she says she will pick up a chair, but Quico reminds her that Don Ramon forbade her to take anything from his house. Chilindrina answers however that her father forbade her to pick up things in the morning, but said nothing about taking something afternoon.
El Chavo appears and shows the Quico the lollipop he bought but Quico replies that he prefers to play dollhouse. Chavo says again that house is a girl's game and Quico throws El Chavo's lollipop on the floor. In response to this, El Chavo destroys Quico's house and gets punched. He chases Quico with a brick but ends up hitting Don Ramon.
After insisting, Chilindrina finally gets permission to take the chair and Don Ramon recalls that both will visit his grandmother (Doña Nieves). Excited by the news, Chilindrina asks if she can use her new dress for the occasion, to which Don Ramon replies yes. Don Ramon also uses a new outfit and gets to go unnoticed by the other inhabitants of the vecindad and Doña Florinda thinks he disguised himself to avoid taking a slap.
Señor Barriga comes to pick up the payment of rents and ends up fighting with Don Ramon because he bought a new suit instead of having used the money to pay the rent. First Chavo have trouble carrying both "sackos". Then Quico took Don Ramon's sacko while the Chavo holds the other sacko of the Senor BARRIGA. Then they bought. Both end up punching Quico in the process. Only Doña Florinda saw Don Ramon hit Quico and she hits both fighters. Don Ramon escapes to not pay the rent and Quico insists that El Chavo play with him. During the conversation, El Chavo reveals that he doesn't live in the barrel but in the "house 8". Don Ramon hides in his house but Quico reveals to Señor Barriga where he is hidden. However, Don Ramon escapes through the window, only to be denounced by El Chavo. Chilindrina scolds him for his silliness and goes home. Don Ramon and Señor Barriga appear and Don Ramon is accused of fleeing to not pay the rent, to which he denies.
In the end, things take a turn for the worse for Don Ramon when Señor Barriga says that if he's not paid the month's rent, Don Ramon sleep outside that night. In another scene, Chilidrina says her father gave a comeback because he slept in a house. The camera moves to reveal Don Ramon sleeping in the house that Quico had built.
