LG announced a range of new Borderless HD TV's for release at IFA Berlin in 2009. The range has four models: SL8000, SL9000, LH9000 and LH9500.
The LCD with Edge LED SL9000 measures 29mm from front-to-back has a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 and uses integrated speakers. The SL9000 comes in 42-inch or 47-inch varieties. The SL9000 was planned to be available in the UK in October or November 2009.
