LA Indie Movie (LAIM, previously LA Lights Indie Movie) is one of the most significant film making workshop festival organised by SET FILM, which held annually in several big cities in Indonesia. The focus of the LAIM is introducing about film making and also giving the opportunity to the audience to immerse in the world of independent film and creative. Another notable feature is the appeal of the festival to young people, both in terms of the large youthful audience it attracts and through its efforts to develop and promote young talent.

LA Indie Movie was esbalished by SET FILM, an Indonesian film production company was founded by Garin Nugroho, in 2007. the first LA Indie Movie was held between July to November 2007 in Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya,
