Kurangu Kusala is a comic character who used to feature on Rani, a Tamil weekly from the house of popular Tamil daily Thina Thanthi (Daily Thanthi). The strips took a dig at contemporary political and social scenarios, voiced through Kusala, a housewife with the face of a monkey.
