Kudinilam

Kudinilam (Tamil: குடிநிலம்) is a village in the Thirukkovil town of Sri Lanka, situated along the eastern coast of the island. It is 2.9:km of Tirukovil and 35.6:km, 33 mins drive north of Pottuvil. It was under Thirukkovil town. Thambiluvil was severely affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami. Because of the tsunami, many people lost their relations and properties including houses, livestock and paddy fields. The people are returning to their normal life with the help of the aid from People's Church Relief,government and NGOs. the people's church are thing about people's Future and they decided to build a house for that people. 2006 they a started work and 2008 finished. Now they're start to build new school.
