Krasnoyarsky District (Russian: Красноя́рский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the eleven in Astrakhan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 5,260 square kilometers (2,030 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Krasny Yar. Population: 35,615 (2010 Census); 38,534 (2002 Census); 45,547 (1989 Census). The population of Krasny Yar accounts for 33.2% of the district's total population.
