Kourosh Sehati

Kourosh Sehati (کوروش صحتی in Persian) (born April 7, 1978 in Tehran, Iran), is a journalist, human rights activist and former member of several student groups in Iran. He was expelled from university because of his political activities and helped organize the July 1999 student pro- democracy protests against the Iranian government. Kourosh arrested several times between 2000 and 2004 and he has experiences in illegal detention facilities. Kourosh is working for Voice of America Persian service based in Washington D.C. since 2007. His reports are mostly about political issues inside Iran .ALso human rights and democratic movements such as students, workers and women movements in Iran.
