He played for the "crimsons" until 1997, when he was transferred to Paniliakos. During the winter transfer window of 2001, he signed for Iraklis Thessaloniki, following the recommendations of the then coach, the late Ioannis Kyrastas . During the 2004-05 period, he fell into disfavour by the team's administration, thus decommissioned and in January 2005 he signed with Aris , in which he has participated in two cup finals in 2005 and 2008, both times against Olympiacos . In January 2009 he moved to Atromitos. In 2011, he participated in another Cup final, this time against AEK Athens . In the summer of 2011 and after 14 years he returned to the team that he made his first football steps, AE Larissa, where he competed until the summer of 2015, in the age of 40! He is best known for his physical strength and that is the reason that Nebegleras can stand at top level at this age. Nebegleras played for Greece at the 2004 Summer Olympics, as well as against Croatia in his only appearance with the national team in 2001.
