Konde Deshmukh is one of the Maratha "96K" clans of western India. Deshmukh is an honorary title in the Maratha community.

The Kondes are a subclan of the Dalvi clan of Marathas. The Dalvis are from Lodorva (Rajasthan) and Parmar Rajput Branch. As Dalvis settled in Maharashtra some of their families moved to Desh (in western Maharashtra) and gained the name of Konde and served Bahamani Sultanates of Deccan. The Kondes was granted the title of Deshmukh and Patil being watandars by the Sultanates.This family is also well known for their political power and business owning in such businesses as hotels and real estate. Konde Deshmukhs are form village of Aglambe and from various other part of Pune district like kudje,mandviand khed-shivapur,kelawada etc. Some of the Konde families of here move to Dhamankhel village in junnar taluka of pune district around 1800 while some of the Konde families moved to Gurholi with sirname khedekar Deshmukh. The historically known name from this family is Antaji Konde-Deshmukh. Antaji Konde-Deshmukh was associated with Shivaji maharaj in his initial period when Shivaji came to pune from Shivneri and got settled in Lal mahal.It was 1636 when,the family met Jijabai and offered their own Wada to stay to the Bhonsale.He was working with Bapuji Mudgal Deshpande of khed.Marne Deshmukh from Andgaon,mulshi whose Founder member of Davaiirao Marne. He is Great Sardar.
