The Line 3, or Joka Esplanade Line of the Kolkata Metro. It is a 16.72 km long metro from Joka (in extreme south Kolkata) and Esplanade (in central Kolkata) is under construction, It is being built by RVNL. It is partially elevated and partially underground, around 8.5 km of the project will be elevated and the rest 6.32 km of the metro line will be underground.
