The main news is updated three times a day, breaking news is reported 24 hours a day, & the political news is updated throughout the day by Yossi Gestetner.

Function

Kol Mevaser serves as a replacement for radio broadcasting in the Haredi world, which prefers to avoid news sources from outside the community.

History

Kol Mevaser was established in 2003 by Zalmen Wieder. As of November 2015, Wieder is still the main news reporter on the hotline.
