Kohavision (KTV) is a Kosovan television broadcaster, and part of KOHA group. Kohavision began broadcasting in September 2000, shortly after the Kosovo War ended. The news is a very important sector, with Koha e Lajmeve, being the most watched in the country.

History

Kohavision was first broadcast in 2000. Since then, it has been very popular, and not just in Kosovo, but also in Albania and Albanian-speaking population of Macedonia and Montenegro. It has been developed while Veton Surroi led it. Now, Veton Surroi is a former owner of KTV, and his sister Flaka Surroi took over as the managing director. KOHA is known for owning the most read and number one newspaper in Kosovo, Koha Ditore. It all began by a 2-hour programme per day, but now it's a 24/7 programme, and KOHA is a leading media house in Kosovo.
