Kjofossen Power Station is a hydroelectric power plant at Sogn og Fjordane, which was built during World War II. It was built in World War II and feeds its power partly in form of single phase AC (one of only two power stations in Norway to do this, the other being Hakavik) with a frequency of 16.667 Hertz directly into the overhead wire of the railway to Bergen.
