Partick Thistle F.C. David Shrigley

Kingsley is the official mascot for Scottish Premiership football team Partick Thistle. Initially designed by Turner Prize nominated artist, David Shrigley, Kingsley became the club's official mascot when Californian investment firm, Kingsford Capital, became the club’s title sponsor and was unveiled as the new mascot on 22 June 2015. Kingsley succeeded Jaggy MacBee as the club's mascot, who was representative of the sponsorship of Scottish beverage company MacB.

Following the launch of the Kingsford Capital sponsorship, Kingsley was the subject of widespread mockery on social media and in the press. The launch, and subsequent pictures, appeared across the UK media including in The Daily Telegraph, The Times, BBC, Sky Sports, The Herald, The Sun and Talk Sport. Global coverage included media agencies such as CNN The Washington Post and TIME Magazine.

Kingsley is active on Twitter, instagram and Facebook.
