Kimberlie R. Acosta (aka Kimberlie R. Hall) (Ojibwe/Cree) is an American photographer and businesswoman in Indian Country. She has taken the most comprehensive collection of Native Musician photography archives available from the past 15 years. She works as the advertising director for News From Indian Country, the independent national Indian newspaper, host of RezStyle, and co-host of The Native News Update.
Background
Acosta has taken photos of performers such as Buffy Sainte-Marie, Loretta Lynn, Jana, Tina Turner, Joanne Shenandoah, and Bill Miller. Since 1999, Acosta has been the official photographer for the Native American Music Awards.
She serves as the advertising director for News From Indian Country, the independent national Indian newspaper founded in 1986, and is host of RezStyle and co-host of The Native News Update on IndianCountryTV.
