She was active in the film industry from 1986 to 2000, and her final role was in the 2000 movie "Killing Cinderella" where she played a character named Laurel.
Walker attended Fiorello La Guardia High School of the Performing Arts in New York City. She also studied at Grace Church School as well.
She died at her Los Angeles home on March 6, 2001 because of a brain tumor.
