Kim Christer Lauren (born 1990) is a Finnish man who was convicted of kidnapping, attempted sexual abuse and possession of child pornography.

In September 2012, Lauren spotted an 8-year-old girl during his normal workday in Kotka, Finland. Acting on impulse, he decided to kidnap the girl. Lauren dragged the girl to his car, tied her up and gagged her, and then went to resume his work. He intended to sexually abuse the girl on his free time, after which he would let her go. However, the girl had managed to free herself of the bindings and call her mother via her concealed mobile phone, and her mother alerted the police. The girl returned safely home after having only been subjected to physical restraint and some mild fondling by Lauren. The whole incident lasted three hours.

On 18 April 2013, the Kymenlaakso district court sentenced Lauren, 22 years old at the time, to three years and three months in prison, as well as having to pay a total sum of 17 thousand Euro to the girl and her family as compensation for the suffering he caused. Kouvola court of appeal upheld the sentence in October 2013.
