"Kid A" is a song by the English rock band Radiohead, which is the second track and the title track from their fourth studio album Kid A, released on 2 October 2000. The song, like the rest of the songs on Kid A, were not released as commercial singles.

Composition

The song alternates between D minor and F major before staying at C major. It is a heavily processed electronic piece which demonstrates both Radiohead's increasing influences from ambient and electronic music, and the distortion of Yorke's voice which was done extensively on other songs on Kid A. Yorke's vocals on the track were simply spoken and then vocoded with the ondes Martenot to create the melody.
