Khortha (Khotta) is the mainly spoken in the Indian state of Jharkhand, khortha language is the main communicable lauguage between pleople of jharkhand. It is most popular language between sadani as well as jharkhandi tribals. It mainly in 15 districts of two divisions: North Chotanagpur and Santhal Pargana. The 15 districts are Hazaribagh, Koderma, Giridih, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Chatra, Ramgarh, Deoghar, Dumka, Sahebganj, Pakur, Godda, and Jamtara. Khortha is not only spoken by the Sadaans, it is also used by the Adivasis as a link language.

Khortha language had its own script called khorsthi lipi an ancient indian script. This research has been done by khortha scholar Dr. Nageshwar Mahto it has 36 alphabets as well software named Anshu software we can type khortha lipi incomputer aslo with the help of this software.
