Khanom chin nam ya is Thai for "noodles with fish curry." Khanom chin nam ya is spicy like many other dishes in Thai cuisine, such as Tomyamkung, Somtum, and Yum.

Khanom chin nam ya is mix menu between Khanom chin and nam ya. First part is Khanom chin (English: noodles), Khanom chin is originated from the Mon people. Second part is Nam ya (English: fish curry). Nam ya originates from Central Thailand.

The ingredients of Khanom chin nam ya include Khanom chin, boiled fish, fish ball, dried guinea pepper, salt, kha sliced, lemongrass sliced, garlic sliced, turmeric sliced, fingerroot, shrimp paste, shallots, undiluted coconut milk, diluted coconut milk, fish sauce, palm sugar, noodles, boiled egg and fresh vegetables.

Cooking instructions

First, pounded the dried guinea papper, salt, kha, lemongrass, shallots, garlic, fingerroot and turmeric pounded until break, then put the boiled fish and shrimp paste to pounded continue. Second, boiled the coconut milk by use middle temperature, then input the spices in first step, when the coconut milk is boiling, then input fish ball and season. Last, input Khanom chin in dish and pour the fish curry in to dish, it ready to eat with boiled egg and fresh vegetables.
