Jacksonville Jaguars
He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars on April 26, 2009 after the 2009 NFL Draft. Within two months, on June 4, the Jaguars waived him.
Amarillo Venom
On Thursday, February 11, the Indoor Football League's Amarillo Venom announced they had signed Patterson for the upcoming 2010 season. Patterson's team-high 72 tackles and six interceptions lead to his Second Team All-IFL accolade.
