Kevin Kaufman is a director and executive producer of television series and feature films. He created the first “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” the most successful franchise in cable TV history, and recently directed and produced the upcoming feature “Ace the Case”, starring Oscar winner Susan Sarandon and Ripley Sobo, star of Danny Boyle’s “Steve Jobs”
Other television credits include “The Perfect Murder,” the highly rated series now in its third season on Investigation Discovery; “Ms. Homicide” for LMN networks; The 100 Scariest Movie Moments for Bravo; the 22-episode series I Married a Mobster for Investigation Discovery; “Family Pickle" for RLTV, winner of the 2013 Cablefax Award for “Best Show or Series Reality - Professions” and the 2013 New York Festivals Gold World Medal for Best Reality TV Drama; “Watching the Detectives” and “DEA Files” for A&E networks; “The Greatest Fashion Icons in Film” for TLC.
Kaufman produced and directed the feature documentary, “The Palladium: Where Mambo was King,” which also aired on Bravo and won the 2003 Imagen Award for Best Television Documentary; and also wrote, directed, and produced the 1991 feature film, “Romeo & Julia,” which won the Silver Award at the Houston International Film Festival.
