Kenton railway station, later known as Kenton Bank, is a closed railway station that was served by the Ponteland Light Railway, operated by the North Eastern Railway. It was located close to what is now the B6918.

History

The station was opened on 1 June 1905 and was closed to passengers on 17 June 1929. It remained open for goods traffic until 3 January 1966 although from 20 May 1954 it was downgraded to a public delivery siding. It was demolished in 1973 and replaced in 1981 by Bank Foot Metro station.
