Kent Sasse

Kent C. Sasse (born September 5, 1966) is a bariatric surgeon, author and speaker in the field of weight reduction, bariatric medicine and surgery. He founded the International Metabolic Institute and the Western Bariatric Institute, a surgical weight loss center and ASBS Center of Excellence, where he serves as medical director. He also founded the Obesity Prevention Foundation, and organization aimed at raising awareness of the problem of childhood obesity and developing solutions for its prevention.
